Confectionery Joris is a monument in the history of Belgian confectionery, founded in 1938 in the Brussels region, which has been offering sweets of excellent quality for four generations, in keeping with the tradition and the entirely manual methods of manufacturing, using ingredients of optimal quality.
Confectionery Joris is one of the few companies that still use raw gum arabic as raw material. We also find anise that is incorporated in some recipes and elderberries known to relieve the throat and nose in case of colds.
